For 100 years of transatlantic travel, #BA100 and the fiftieth anniversary of the Boeing 747, this episode is based around a classic interview with Captain Hugh Dibley FraeS.

From the DC6 to the Airbus A340, Capt Dibley has crossed the world flying almost every type of mainstream airliner. Hear his views on the merger of BEA and BOAC, as well as early navigation techniques, cockpit resource management and flying automation.
